Prescription Lenses

Today, there is no need to explain to customers that only an individual solution in selecting optical lenses can ensure high-quality vision correction. Polymer prescription lenses have the advantage, as they are lighter than mineral ones, less traumatic and unsafe, simpler to use and maintain.

You can choose lenses with any coating you wish:
- hard coating that prevents scratches;
- anti-computer coating;
- "driving" lenses, etc.

Most customers choose lenses with a refractive index of 1.56. This is due to both the fairly high quality of the lens and the affordability of the price. Lenses in this index have several coatings, one of them being HMC.

Hard Multi Coat coating composition:
- multi-layer bilateral anti-reflective coating (residual reflex - green). The main task is to eliminate reflections;
- multi-layer ultra-durable coating (provides high resistance to scratches);
- water-repellent, hydrophobic coating (prevents fogging, lenses are easy to clean);
- antistatic;
- metallized coating that protects eyes from harmful electromagnetic radiation of television and computer equipment. With UV protection – 380 nm;
- green reflection.

Advantages of Hard Multi Coat coating:
- blocks electromagnetic waves;
- provides protection from radiation of computer and TV screens;
- reduces eye strain;
- prevents eye redness and headaches;
- eliminates static interference.

There are also lenses with refractive indices of 1.61, 1.67, 1.74. It should be noted that the thickness of a lens to some extent depends on the refractive index. The higher it is – the thinner the lens. Therefore, lenses with indices 1.61, 1.67, 1.74 are recommended for users with high prescriptions.

CARL ZEISS
Lenses CARL ZEISS (Germany)

Optical company ZEISS.

ZEISS 1.5 Combi NT LENSES

The ZEISS Single Vision 1.5 NT lens coating has several layers. The bottom layer, which is closest to the lens surface, is impact-resistant and protects the lens from scratches. The outer layer is hydrophobic, preventing contamination that can leave fingerprints. This coating also minimizes scratches caused by repeated wiping from dust and almost invisible sand particles. Between the hard and hydrophobic layers there is an anti-reflective (AR) coating, which gives decisive importance to the lens and controls light reflection on the surface, achieving maximum clear vision. Without anti-reflective coating, the lens would reflect part of the light, reducing the transmission coefficient.

ZEISS Single Vision 1.5 NT lenses are recommended for mounting in full-frame glasses and rimless frames. Polymer lenses are very lightweight compared to glass and therefore comfortable to wear. They also have a significant safety advantage in many everyday situations.

In addition, the company offers progressive, office, multifocal, and sun lenses in indices 1.5; 1.6; 1.67; 1.74.
