Air Optix plus HydraGlyde

In the production of Air Optix plus HydraGlyde lenses, silicone-hydrogel material is used, which provides high oxygen permeability and comfort throughout the day.

For the most effective use of Air Optix plus HydraGlyde lenses, Alcon recommends using Opti-Free Pure Moist or Opti-Free Express solutions.

Opti-Free Express Lens Solution

A multi-purpose solution for all types of soft contact lenses with strong antimicrobial action. It is one of the best-selling solutions in the world.

Functions:

• storage and rinsing;
• cleaning;
• disinfection;
• moisturizing.

Cleaning

Instead of the well-known poloxamer or poloxamine, Alcon uses sodium citrate (citric acid), which is particularly effective at removing fatty deposits.

Disinfection

A strong disinfecting effect is provided by two agents at once: Polyquad and Aldox.

Moisturizing

Sorbitol is used for moisturizing.

Shelf life after opening: 6 months.
Minimum disinfection time: 6 hours.
